The rivalry between Mayer and Ryan began long before their initial meeting last September. Mayer accused Ryan of stealing her trainer, while Ryan alleged that Mayer’s team staged a stunt that ended with Ryan being splattered with paint outside the fight hotel in New York. Mayer ultimately claimed victory by majority decision, but this bitter feud still has plenty of unfinished business.
